    This is a well researched book which is useful to the lay person as well as to the professional researcher and historical association. I highly recommend it as a good value, well written book.

    More New England data available

    I bought the book, because my family were involved in UR activities in Whately, MA, not far south of Vermont. This is a valuable source in filling in details and suggesting new leads to exploring a period that had to be shrouded in mystery while it was happening and which was talked about but not written down back in the 1920's and 1930's.
