The first use procedure didn't work as per book. After some trial & error, the machine worked. Now it is so easy to use with great results, not sure about my rating for cleaning as it hasn't been required yet, but access to every component is easy. Cup warmer is really inefficient. I bought this because it was advertised as a dual boiler machine, but you can't get steam/warmer until coffee is brewed. It's not a problem as the time between is not long.

It’s not the best machine. But it’s not the worst. Every one I put machine on it waste water. Every time I turn it off it waste water. I just feel I’m filling it up all the time. The machine is good. But I would recommend that you understand coffee beans before you buy one. As mine was not used as the beans was horrible. Until I went with Starbucks beans. Then you have to Play with dials for strength. It takes a while to get it right and I’ve thrown thousands of cups coffee away but now we getting some where. Do your research

Simple to use bean to cup machine which seems very robust. Quality of the espresso is reasonable - you can play around with the dials but it's never going to be outstanding. You get a really nice crema and the frother does its job well. I would hate to pay the full price for one but as a used buy they are good value.

I love the coffee from my magnifica. Previously had a second hand one for 5 years and it finally gave up the ghost. Loved it so much I bought another new one. Is a bit fiddly to clean inside but aside from that it makes nice coffee with good crema. We keep caffeinated beans in the hopper and I use the scoop setting for my decaf. Frother works nicely and is easy to descale. You can set you coffee up just how you like it but bear in mind the grinding setting takes a few cups to work through. I like a short strong coffee and the other half likes a long strong coffee, easy to switch between the two. My old machine took a beating as we had it at work and catered for three full time coffee addicts plus freelancers and visitors.

I've been wanting a bean-to-cup machine for a long time. Looked at them several times and they all seemed so very expensive. A friend at work introduced by to Delonghi refurbished ones, so I took the plunge and ordered it. Absolutely love it! The coffee is amazing - I like a good strong black coffee and currently experimenting with settings to achieve the perfect cup, at the same time as trying out many different beans. It's my new toy! I love that you can just set it up in the morning - fresh water and beans, then you're good to go for a while - just the press of a button and you have beautiful coffee. I actually did a video and sent to my son as he's a coffee lover. He also made a purchase within a couple of days. I shold be on commission!!
