Dado a que en Venezuela las cooperativas se tienen como una de las formas de participacion comunitarias reconocidas por la Constitucion de la Republica Bolivariana de Venezuela para llegar a fortalecer de manera gradual la economia social entre los grupos excluidos y que entre organizaciones se generan continuamente conflictos por las acciones, intereses y valores contrapuestos entre los propios socios, este texto se planteo como objetivo analizar las practicas de resolucion del conflicto en las cooperativas del Municipio Maracaibo en el periodo 2004- 2009. Entre los planteamientos mas significativos de este texto esta que los conflictos dentro de las cooperativas son concebidos como una situacion particular de relaciones sociales, cuya produccion social se hace comprensible desde los procesos de cambios propios de lo social y desde las inadecuaciones que estos reproducen entre los ordenes constitutivos de la realidad social y su deber ser, donde las practicas de resolucion de conflicto se promueven como esfuerzos de apropiacion consciente de las relaciones sociales constitutivas del conflicto.
