I bought this cassette player so that I could use it in the night when I can't sleep, and not disturb my husband. I like my little cassette player because it is so convenient to carry around, the sound is good and I bought it for a reasonable price, not being sure if I would use it enough I decided to not to buy a brand new one. The main problem with the deal was that the player came with no instructions so I had to spend quite a long time sorting out what to do with it. I have eventually triumphed and can now tune straight to Radio 4 and Classic FM and know which way up to put the tape in. Only one other small problem, the picture of the cassette player shows a different headset to the one I received. I was sent an ear plug type which is a bit uncomfortable (maybe I have smaller than normal ears) but this can soon be rectified by swapping to another one. On the whole I think I received a good deal for the price I paid. I would be happy to have bought the product for the full price.Read full review
The last cassette walkman made by Sony. It has all the best features of previous models. The operation is simple with no auto-reverse. Some may like models with all the ^bells and whistles^ but they add to potential oroblems. The sound quality is very good with mega bass as an option. FM and AM reception is also very good with presets available. Construction is plastic with the cassette lid on the rear of the unit. This lid should be treated with care as it is a bit flimsy. Overall a great little machine

I bought this Walkman to replace my original one which was completely worn out after many years daily use. This a straightforward unit to use; it's simple to program the radio to favourite radio frequencies and the digital display is clear and easy to see. Although I use the cassette player part of the Walkman less frequently, this is also straightforward to use. Sound quality is excellent, especially with the more comfortable 'outside' the ear type headphones. All the button and volume controls are easily located. The only downside to this excellent product is the flimsy battery cover as the 'hinge' of this can easily be broken, which is why my previous Walkman had the batteries held in with Duck tape for a number of years. Aside from this one fault, this is a product I would recommend.Read full review
so convenient that it stops when the tape comes to an end rather than reverse and continue thereby saving battery.
