An awesome example of a magnificent talent!
This CD exemplifies how much of a magnificent talent Gurrumul was. His haunting voice is complimented by the addition of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra along with the added tales of his story... Just excellent!!

Powerful & inspirational. His music is a powerful aboriginal message of strength against adversity and overcoming to become such a wonderful entertainer. With the Sydney Symphony Orchestra as backing the music is not only entertaining but powerful. The two combining will seldom ever be done again and this man has a story and song to tell. This was a very enjoyable cd that I find myself playing just as background music in my shop and not many realise the strength behind the words but I do and I commend Gurrumul his life and his music.Powerful & inspirational. His music is a powerful aboriginal message of strength against adversity and overcoming to become such a wonderful entertainer.
