In a boorish future, the government sponsors a popular but bloody cross-country race in which points are scored by mowing down pedestrians, with bonus points for the elderly! Five teams--each comprised of a male and female--compete using cars equipped with deadly weapons. Frankenstein--the mysterious returning champion--has become America's hero, but this time he has a passenger from the underground resistance. More delightfully sick humour from director Paul Bartel (EATING RAOUL) in this legendary cult film.

Death Race 2000
I decided to buy it because I watched it on TV the other night. I have never seen a film like it before. It's set in the year 2000 but was originally produced in the late 1970's. It's a game where you earn points by killing people, hence the name "Death Race". The co-star of this piece is a very talented actor, Sylvester Stallone. I have never seen him play a "bad guy". This is a very controversial film with very entertaining moments. A must see. We have past the year 2000 and are well on our way, living the future that they predicted in the years when I was born.I decided to buy it because I watched it on TV the other night. Death Race 2000
This is an old films from back in the 80's with a few stars in it like Sylvester Stalone, David Carridine. It is not a bad old film but at the same time it is crap. But for avid film collectors its one to get. I bought it to go in my collection of 80's films and B Movies. A great addition to my film collection.

Daeth Race 2000
Back in the 70's when I first saw tis film, it was considered to be quite bloody and a bit scary. Laughed my socks off this time. Still a worthwhile watch
