    Good piece of kit when you find the right driver

    I installed this on a WINDOWS 7 Desktop. Had a really hard job finding the drivers. The link given in the leaflet was of no help at all. Eventually found the driver at the Thailand ORICO website. But once installed appeared to work just fine. I discovered that some USB 2.0 hardware may not be compatible with USB 3.0 so bear that in mind and keep some USB 2 ports.

    Plug it and see!

    Upon inspection this looks well-made and includes a cable to allow connection to (my) front mounted Akasa USB3 twin port. However it suffers from the 5 ports being so close together that only standard size leads can fit side by side.If Orico do a 4 port board with better spacing then that might be a better option. Because of this I have experienced connection issues. I can't be sure if this is specific to this card but this issue is why I would not recommend. It's a matter of try it and see if this item appears to be what you require. It is useful for retro fitting to early PCiE slots.

    High performance & great price

    A very good quality product which was pull in and go with Windows 10 64bit. It has a good number of external ports + the USB 3 20 pin internal socket for a full selection of options. The molex to sata adaptor seems to good quality if you need to use it, as some newer power supply' s are lacking in molex connectors.

    5 Port USB PC Card works with Windows 10 in Dell Vostro.

    I plugged it in and it all worked without me having to download drivers. This was installed in a Dell Vostro running Windows 10. The price was very reasonable compared with some other offerings on the web. The instructions were all in Chinese which was not very helpful but opictures showed you how to plug it into the express port.

    Although the ORICO 5 Ports PCI-E USB 3.0 Expansion Card Adpter & 19 Pin Internal USB 3.0 dual is an absolutely fine product I wish more thought had been put into getting the appropriate driver for it. 5 times I downloaded the driver from the relevant website, and each time the .zip file could not be opened. In the end I had to do an online search for the same product in order to get a driver download that actually worked.
