Nanoxia deep silence 140 pwm
I am using this as a case fan for a system worth an MSI motherboard which won't let you set the minimum speed less than 50% (a very irritating setting from MSI). At 50% of speed, you would expect the fan to run at 700rpm, but instead the fan is running at just under 950rpm. So the fan manufacturer numbers don't really addup even if you consider the +/- 10% margin stated. Also the cables are a bit thick and stiff so cable management is not great. With a speed controller one can appreciate how quiet the fan is between 550-750 rpm (good airflow at these speeds). Over that it is loud, but more like white noise (wind) rather than whine. But the point is, all fans are loud over that threshold (750rpm), even the ludicrously priced Noctuas. Quieter than expected
I'm glad I bought these fans and this is why... My PC case, an ageing Xigmatek Midgard, came with two pre-installed 120mm fans. One an intake at the front and the other an out-take in the regular ATX place, high at the back near the CPU. This situation has existed since I bought the case and I've always thought about changing it but never did. When I recently purchased a Sapphire RX 480 Nitro+ 8Gb OC I became aware of the fan noise from the card when it is under heavy load and the temperature of the card and case rises. The card is not as loud as some reviews seem to make out but it is not by any stretch of the imagination quiet. I've not come across any 3rd party fan solutions on graphics cards that ever run their fans at full speed, regardless I forced the GPU fans to full speed ... It actually sounded just like any other card at 100% fan speed, noisier than in normal operation. Like you've started a small vacuum cleaner. Under load I gained the impression that it was only making the noise it did because it could not cool down, and I was also aware the 120mm intake at the front of my case was not up to the task. Especially given it was pushing air over three hard drives before it even got to the GPU and CPU. The Midgard case has an intake slot at the bottom and both this and the front fan position both accepted 140mm fans. In steps the Nanoxia Deep Silence 140mm fans. These fans are rated quieter (16.2dBA) than the 120mm Xigmatek fan ( 20 dBA) in the front of the case. So I put these two, one in the front replacing the 120mm fan pushing air across the hard drives and the other in the bottom blowing upwards. The result was more air pulled into the case than the single 120mm fan could manage. In fact the fan in the bottom of the case was pushing air unobstructed directly towards the GPU and CPU. Even with both running at half speed they are drawing in more air than the single 120mm fan at full speed (1500rpm) and just as quiet as that single fan. Although the Nanoxia fans had a far better airflow than the case fan they were replacing, the slightly lower air pressure rating (1.18mmH20 vs 1.56mmH20) was a concern given the filters on the case. The concern was unwarranted as the two fans overcame anything the single 120mm fan could do. Again In my case, you may experience different, I get case temperatures 10 degrees lower on the motherboard and CPU than previously possible. The Sapphire card no longer gets noisy even under 100% load as it has a constant supply of cool air directed at it. Verdict. In my case a really good decision to get these fans. Highly recommend to replace older smaller fans if your PC case can take them.

Very quiet with good performance.
Very quiet. I have two of these running in a GameMax Silent Soundproofed case and can hardly hear them most of the time. I only start to hear them from around 1200RPM, and at max speed my GPU fan is still louder.
