This Seals & Crofts effort from the mid 70's marked their farewell to folk rock and a full time involvement with contemporary pop music. Although the style and harmonies remain intact, and had continued to be amoong the finest of the time, these songs were not all written by Jim & Dash...the stand outs are Breakin In A Brand New Love, which was almost disco in style, and Sunrise, a majestic jazz offering, featuring the sax stylings of Jim Seals. These tunes were aimed at getting airplay on FM radio, jazz and rock formats. The flow of tbis album is pleasant, although the Bahai songs are too lengthy. The guys never sounded better...this is worth a listen
I don't know why it is so hard to find. When the other CD's by Seals & Crofts are not. Just sayin! But I wanted it , so it what it is! Not sure this last LP from S & C . You can tell the change in style in the music. More up beat than songs than the earlier LP's. Maybe a little disco influence of that time.
