    So cheap, so good, so buy one!

    I am very impressed with the saw. So easy to assemble /disassemble. Like cutting through butter! You have to keep checking chain tightness, but that's the same with any saw! You can't go wrong for the money. Good value.

    Great machine

    I purchased this to replace an aging petrol chainsaw. I had never used an electric chainsaw before and was very surprised at how easy it was to use. I like the fact that unlike the petrol chainsaw the electric one is very quiet to use. I found that it cut 8 inch logs in about 15 seconds. I also like the fact that the chain can be tensioned without tools and this can be done very easily. I would definitely recommend this saw whether you are a beginner or a more experienced user. I think for the price this was very good value.

    Really pleased with the Hawksmoor electric chain saw . Cut down a 50 foot pine tree effortlessly and with no problems and then went on to cut into logs. The motor is powerful and as long as follow all the basic safety guidelines is perfectly safe to use with no messing about with 2 stroke oil and petrol mix and non starting issues, just press button and go.

    Great for smaller jobs

    Needed something stronger than my hedge trimmers to really cut back an old hedge - - did have a few problems as debris caused a few blockages so the chain had to be refitted a couple of times. However, as a chain saw is not really made for hedge cutting we accepted this small problem - it was far better than burning out the motor on my hedge trimmers!! it's off to my sister's now to chop down a small tree.........
