I ordered this item for a friend whose Samsung, same model, died on them. They are well satisfied with the replacement. The only complaint is the inability to silence the keyboard separately from the ringer. I personally continue to use an old Philips for a feature rare in current mobiles, it can be carried and used discreetly in public. Pity they don't make em anymore.
I am a massive fan of SAMSUNG C3050 for the past 5 years and I would not swap it for another mobile phone it is a amazing communication gadget.
