  • WILSON AND HIGGS DELIVER BIG SOUND!

    I had been wanting to find this CD by Todd Wilson, and David Higgs for a while. I missed it the first time around, and was glad to find it on Ebay recently. The organ used is the large Moller at National City Christian Church, in Washington, D.C. The organ has never sounded better, and this recording is a must have, in my book. The playing is top-notch, and "The Ride of the Valkyries" is worth the price, and the hunt. These are two very talented organists, and I assure you this CD will give even the best of sound systems a run for the money. I was a little leery of the Calvin Hampton: "Alexander Variations," as Hampton's works tend to be very dissonant, but this is one of his more "tonal" works, and quite nice. Pick this up at any price, ...
