Product Information

Turn a pristine plot of fertile land into a successful farm, before the village decides to build a theme park instead and the land is lost to urban sprawl. This is the motivation for players of Harvest Moon 2, a farming simulation for the Game Boy Color. There's a lot of work to be done on the farm, as crops must be planted and harvested, insects must be collected and studied, and animals must be tended to. <br><br>Like running a real farm, the game requires some well considered planning as players must choose the right crops according to value and growing seasons. There are also role-playing elements, as players explore the village and enjoy the market square.<br><br>Several new tools and tasks have been added since the original version of Harvest Moon GBC, released a year earlier. Harvest Moon 2 also supports the use of a link cable to allow farmers to trade herbs and fish with other Harvest Moon 2 players, as well as with player's of Natsume's fishing sim Legend of the River King 2.

I'm not waiting a week to tell you that I am never ordering from this vendor again. Zero customer service, when I try to contact its not delivered. I appreciate the fact the game came quickly however the game though described as "very good" in condition didn't run in my Xbox and no matter what I did it will not read it. It's only 3 dollars but if it is advertised as very good then it should be so. Safe to say I am very disappointed in this vendor and the product that I payed for.

A good price for a cool PSP game, shipped promptly and packaged well. However, the UMD shell arrived cracked so the item wasn't exactly in good condition. The disc itself was fine. Rather than return the item, the seller offered a refund directly. I used the refund to buy some replacement UMD shells and got it working. The replacement UMD shells cost about as much as the item itself. But the seller did the right thing without hesitation, so they have my thanks. Thank you!

    First HM for GBC!

    This is a decent harvest moon.. It has lots of buildings.. it retains some features from the first one and adds some that are kept in the third one!! It's a good game to see HM's roots. You can be a girl ora boy.. you can have a cat or a dog... theres plenty of land to farm and barns for animals.. This is the one i've played least... so i dont know a TON about it.. But its harvest moon! What can i say? ~Cait~

    Harvest Moon GBC 2

    I'm a HUGE Harvest Moon fan, and have been ever since I got the original for the Super Nintendo. So naturally I am thrilled with the game! It is so much fun. This version of the game is great- the graphics are good, the story basically like the original and ones before it. The only thing I don't really care for is the way you get to interact with the people in town. Instead of being able to go inside and walk around, it just brings you to the counter where you can purchase items, and chat with the people who run the shop. But it is not too bad, I still love the game so far and recommend it to everyone!

    Great Roleplaying Game Appropriate for Kids

    This is a fun strategy and roleplaying game that is actually appropriate for kids. In the game you take care of a farm in an effort to keep it from becoming a theme park. You can plant crops, raise animals, and go fishing. The game is rather simplistic making it easy for young kids to play, but it also has enough of a plot and excitement that older kids (and adults, like me) can enjoy it.

    By Far the Best Harvestmoon for GBC

    As said in the title this is by far the best of the 3 harvest moons for GabeBoy Color. There is way more to do then in Harvest moon (HM) 1 for GBC/GB. Pros: -You can free roam the city like the console HM games. -There is a forest area now where you can chop wood collect items to sell or even go bug catching. -Lots of upgrades to earn such as house expansion, build a bridge to expand your field, build a Sheep pen, Green house and a few more. -There are a few little quest like things to do such as trying to complete the library's database of fish and bugs -The days are perfect length to get things done Cons: -You can't jump off ledges or over rocks and weeds (minor inconvenience) -No getting married like in other HM's Over all this is a great game to spend hours on or even just playing a ...
