I do not recommend, any other seller will be better. Very poor communication. According to the seller, the buyer doesn't know anything and is wrong. The product may have been previously used and was advertised and sold as new. eBay was asked for help which of course solved the problem.

    Absolute value for money.

    Absolute value for money. The reason I held one star is that one has to constantly readjust the chain tension. The system for tensioning the chain seems to be a little weak, though very easy to use, so it isn't a big issue as long as one keeps a close eye on it.

    Great for smaller jobs

    Have to say I wasn’t expecting too much from this, as with only one medium tree to fell (thickest part about 15” wide) I bought cheap. It’s actually a very capable saw. It did take a new chain to get it working properly, but once fitted it went through the trunk like it was butter and continued to function well cutting the branches into manageable pieces. Overall for domestic use, I would recommend.

    So cheap, so good, so buy one!

    I am very impressed with the saw. So easy to assemble /disassemble. Like cutting through butter! You have to keep checking chain tightness, but that's the same with any saw! You can't go wrong for the money. Good value.

    Great machine

    I purchased this to replace an aging petrol chainsaw. I had never used an electric chainsaw before and was very surprised at how easy it was to use. I like the fact that unlike the petrol chainsaw the electric one is very quiet to use. I found that it cut 8 inch logs in about 15 seconds. I also like the fact that the chain can be tensioned without tools and this can be done very easily. I would definitely recommend this saw whether you are a beginner or a more experienced user. I think for the price this was very good value.

    Really pleased with the Hawksmoor electric chain saw . Cut down a 50 foot pine tree effortlessly and with no problems and then went on to cut into logs. The motor is powerful and as long as follow all the basic safety guidelines is perfectly safe to use with no messing about with 2 stroke oil and petrol mix and non starting issues, just press button and go.
