About this product

Product Information

This mechanical pencil is manufactured by Rotring. It has a 0.5-millimeter pencil lead width, and it can accept leads of various hardness levels. There is a hardness level indicator for the lead located at the end of the pencil. This pencil is black with bright red lettering down the side. The body is made of metal, and the there is a brass mechanism on the interior that guides the lead when dispensed and helps to reduce lead breakage.

    Great quality, the best mechanical pencil I own.

    I waited so long to purchase this pencil, just because in my head, I couldn't justify paying too much money for a pencil, but I found it for a great price, and after using it for a while I can tell you that the feel and quality of the pencil, justifies the price, I absolutely love this pencil, and it has become my number one pencil out of my mechanical pencil collection, it is a bit pricey, but well worth the price for the quality, durability and feel of the pencil. If you can only afford one pencil, do try to get the Rotring 600, it will last you for a long time, and you will enjoy the experience.

    Automatic pen for the next generation

    Very nice, top rate pen! Fits in hand, stable and accurate position for engineering purposes. Well, little bit expensive and heavy true, but that is the pleasure to have it, I hope to have it for the next 20 years at least.Previous Trikky is over 25 years old since my university degree and still in operation. Many projects covered and discussed with. I really hope that that one i could leave to my daughter one day on the same way as my grant-father leaved me his own metal only manually sharped set of pens from 20-30's a long time ago...

    Perfect balance, excellent durable material.

    This is the best all-purpose mechanic pencil I've ever had. I studied architecture and fine arts 30 years ago and had good mechanic pencils at the time. I never had a mechanic pencil in the past 20+ years though.

    Darn good writing tool

    Great weight and solid build. This pencil is really easy to hold onto with its knurling around the barrel. Only thing missing is cushioning in the lead that allows a little spring to prevent breaking.
