Lynx is a mercenary with a sense of honour; a dying breed in the Riven Kingdom. Failed by the nation he served and weary of the skirmishes that plague the continent's principalities, he walks the land in search of purpose. Little could compel Lynx to join a mercenary company, but he won't turn his back on a kidnapped girl. At least the job seems simple enough; the mercenaries less stupid and vicious than most he's met over the years. Ganong was a fantastic Physiology Book I used nearly 50yrs ago when a medical student. It was brilliant, clear and had an incredibly readable font. Thought I'd do a bit of quick revision. The updated 26th edition retails at about £68 and this 2010 23rd edition was just under £7. Different font - but as good as ever. Maybe slightly out of date but it'll do me nicely as a reference book. The book was an ex-library book - but was in good nick (with a plastic cover) and arrived promptly. 5 star!
