Where the rockin' monster began!
Firstly let me say I love T.Rex, and I love Marc Bolan's voice. I didn't have this CD, but I had heard on John Peel over the years a few Tyrannosaurus Rex and T.Rex sessions. I liked!!!! This is all of them collected plus live concerts and a few unreleased tracks. The quality in general is very good (not up to the excellence of Tony Visconti!) apart from the few unreleased trax, which are hissy and not very clear. But having said that, "My Baby's Like A Cloudfall" is a classic lost T.Rex song with lots of melody and panache. This collection is like a history lesson. BOLAN AT THE BEEB
After hearing a radio 1 program several years ago entitiled 'Bolan at the beeb' presented by Andy Peebles,it went through the bolan years and sessions at the b.b.c most of which are on the c.ds. Excellent versions and until now had either dj's talking over intros or shortened versions so the cd's are full versions that until now have not been issued.
