Excellent stability and image--very useful for hand held video.
This lens is very well made---the weightiest and most rugged of the Canon EF-S lenses. Auto focusing is silent, the MF ring is excellent, Image is sharp and very impressive. I also like the focus range. I use the lens for video on my Blackmagic pocket 6k camera, so I can't speak about photography, but this is a very excellent lens for video.
