The fact that it has both a tank and a drain tube for more 'permanent' installations is a nice touch too. Looks smart, LEDs not too bright. Arrived double-boxed which is good. It's a compressor with refrigerant gas in it so being well protected in transit is a must.

If the temperature is lower they can't condense as much moisture (it is just a fact of physics). I placed mine in my loft, temperature between 5 and 8 degrees C, it is collecting about 100ml of water per hour which I think is great. Not silent, but definitely quiet, but again you need to understand it has a fan and a pump. Great seller
