  • Great, comforting, easy recipes, and a fun read!

Great book, not only for the recipes, but for the read. So much fun! And it will totally change your life if you're a fan of soups and homemade breads. My family has been fed on a diet of Dairy Hollow House soups and breads for years now. This was the first cookbook I ever bought as a cash-poor college student, and I just gifted this purchase to a friend, who is also hooked. Great book for vegetarians and omnivores alike, which is what my family is made of...so everyone is usually quite happy. Yes, it's an older book....but it will never lose its charm! :)

  • If you’re serious about soup stock

The purchase was fine….the book is intense. All about making stocks and different variations. I wasn’t thinking it was going to be so serious about stock. Very nice book.

  • Excellent!

A great book. not just the recipes, but a fun read, too, with great stories about the origins of some and also about the people involved in various B and B's.
