Probably plastic not real foil. The glue is sticky, too sticky for paper backing. The paper backing is awful, way too thin for the glue. Making long runs really hard as all paper must come off first or it tears. I can't speak for quality over time. Overall the product looks like it will be OK but there are easier to use and cheaper. I will not buy this again. But it is not rubbish 👍
