There are too many intermediaries for international delivery.     Easy DIY Install Project

    First of, I am an average handy-man at best. Following the YouTube instructional videos online made it relatively easy installation especially when I figured out the common wire was the white wire for our system. Took a few minutes to figure out how to mount the backing plate and the screws into the old set-up but, other than that, this was an easy DIY project and no need to pay a HVAC technician an hour's worth of labor when you can do this yourself.

    New Toy

    I love this. Its clean looking, easy to use. I like the fact that it is WiFi. I can control it from anywhere. I installed it my self and was noooo problem at all. I also like that I can look at the history and run time. I am not the guy for having my phone on location, which is only a issue for " while your away". I also like the ECO settings, set it on eco and leave the house and when your ready to come home turn it on an hour or so to come home to a comfortable home.

    One of the best smart thermostats on the market!

    Installation was a breeze! Nest has a support page on their website where you can enter what wires you have on your old thermostat, and they will instantly create a custom wire diagram for you so you know exactly where to attach your wires into the new unit. I recently installed a couple of the Nest Protect smoke/CO2 detectors and wanted to take advantage of the connectivity to the Nest thermostat. Now that I have the thermostat, the detectors will tell the thermostat to turn off the furnace in the event of a CO2 event to prevent the furnace for adding additional CO2 into the home. I also love the fact that I can adjust the temperature in my home from my smart phone. So if I'm on vacation or away for a long weekend, I'll no longer come home to a hot or cold house.
