Plastic bottle was a poor option like a hip flask not sturdy at all better off with bigger baseReply from: sloe_wood_uk- Feedback replied to by seller sloe_wood_uk.- Feedback replied to by seller sloe_wood_uk.The stain is buildable - ie. it starts with a semi-translucent cover w/ initial coat to more opaque as you build, so you can achieve a particular desired look for the project. Darker wood will need more coats. It’s not meant to be opaque like paint with one coat. Please try an extra coat. Hope this is helpful. Re the bottle - if we used a large base bottle, the postage increases and so does the price for the customer. It's meant to give an economic option for small bottles. Thanks

The dye looks goods, although the packaging was a bit flimsy. Be aware that the container is shaped like a hip flask, tall and thin. Easy to deliver through the letter box but also easy to tip over, as I found out.
