    I purchased this item as it was described as having "Free and Fast Delivery", it was indeed free but as it was ordered on the 16th but didn't arrive until the 27th - it was hardly fast! As can be seen from the photograph, it had been damaged and parcel tape applied to reseal it although a considerable amount of the compost had been lost in the meantime. I don't believe this was caused by the seller I am sure it was due to careless handling by the courier (EVRI) who are normally reliable.

    Well Made

    Fairly compact, gives out a fair amount of light. Has a good feel about it. Can run on 4 led or all 12. Does not come with charger. Needs a 9v to 12v DC charger with a 3.5 mm plug with +ve tip (which is the most normal polarity). The charging light is also very useful, will glow green if there is a connection and glow red if charge is being taken. I think the leaflet included could be more detailed and give this information. The internal battery is said to be 40 mah. This seems very low and may not give a long lighting duration. 2 Ah would be much better. There is space to put in 3 AAA batteries, I would not rate this lantern if that feature were missing. I do not know if winding would charge those batteries too.
