    An excellent watch

    A really good DVD! I saw this when it came out as a series on TV but missed the final 2 episodes as I was away. I have been looking out for a re-run for years, but it was not to be. When I managed to buy this on DVD, I watched the entire series in one fell swoop and it did not disappoint. The acting was superb with a whole clutch of well known American as well as British actors. There was no jazzing up of the events, but it was well written and clever how it depicted, private moments between the Kennedy family that were written with plenty of poetic licence.

    Blockbuster series of iconic American family

    Good entertainment, and I learnt alot about the family , which is why I wanted to watch it. The first 6 episodes are great , covering much that happened in detail. The last 2 episodes feel like they were rushed and only briefly covered the big events . If it had been 10 episodes not 8 , J think it would have been fine. It's a great story, but also a tragic warning of how one father's relentless ambition could destroy a family.

    Superb production - highly recommended

    Superb series, very well maid, recoreded on 3 DVD. Very good like-alike characters (striking likeness if president Kennedy and his wife Jackie), very good record if real facts, some never captured in previous movies about J.F.Kennedy (eg. his spine health problems, special braces he wore, his father obession for his sons to be a head of the State, relationship between Jakie and JakÄ™ president, etc, etc)
