  • Larger than life Murat

Detailed. Explains the workings of the napleonic empire- it's integral nepotism. Joachim Murat is as large as life character as one could read about. Ten lives in one. The treatment of Caroline Bonaparte kindles sympathy and sadness. The little corporal does mot recommend himself putting Murat in an impossible situation and his words on touring the battlefield after Borodino don't recommend his sanity
