Given that, I was worried about possible "gotchas" and additional costs. This transaction was very smooth, the item was as described (near mint), the price was competitive, the packing was good, well padded and boxed and secure, shipping was fast and flawless. Overall, it made me consider purchasing more gear from Japan and this vendor in the future. The item arrived to Texas from Japan in just a few days. I'm happy.

The item itself does look like new as the seller described. However, the SDM motor and AF does not work while seller listed it as working properly. So basically I paid for a manual lens for a price quite higher than other DA* 50135 should be if the SDM failed to work. Contacted the seller and they responded quite promptly. Offered me a solution and I ok with the offer.
