    Good features at a good price with respectable image quality.

    The build quality is nice with smooth moving rings for focus and zoom. There is a decent amount of metal to it and it feels strong as a result, also the weather sealing is a real bonus. The vibration correction is very good and I would say 4 stops of reduction is actually the case here. The angle of view of 10-24mm (15 to 36mm full frame equivalent) is really very wide and can make very interesting images. The lens has decent sharpness wide open at 10mm although you will notice some edge and corner softening at that focal length it is better than I was expecting, while 24mm is its softest focal length it is still totally useable. There is some chromatic aberration near the edges but it is pretty low. You will notice distortion if you do any brick wall shots but in regular use I have no ...
