    good all rounder

    i bought this as a gift for a seamstress/ budding corset maker. She was thrilled with it. from what i saw, it discusses the history of the various methods and improvements on the support-wear that came to be known as a corset, and the book also contains useful reference for practical corset making too. My friend is a trained seamstress, but said it would be a good book for anyone interested in corsetry, a must-have for starting out and a good inspirational reference book to draw from. she hasn't yet put it down.

    An excellent book containing valuable info techniques and tips that is of interest from an historical point as well as a fashion encyclopedia of fact

    Its an in depth account of corsetry history evolvement practice and techniques that provides an invaluable resource for any fashion or garment or corsetry student . An encyclopedia of insight and inspiration to those in industry ....but very expensive sadly
