    WORTH THE PRICE OF ADMISSION!

    I bought this, specifically, to listen to Dick Cathcart's playing. On that, I wasn't disappointed... what can I say; great! As for the rest, it brought smiles to my face as I realized just how far we've come from The 50's! It's impossible to remove Jack Webb from his role in "Dragnet"; his acting is essentially the same in both venues. Likewise, Lee Marvin; if you saw him in "The Dirty Dozen" you know what I mean. It was illuminating to hear Ella when her voice was so young and clean; it was startling to realize Peggy Lee smoldered at such a tender age. Overall, a fun outing; I give it a "B"... you'll enjoy it!

    If you love the blues and jazz GET THIS MOVIE!

    I love this movie! It's the music that is so wonderful, absolutely beautiful! These are not the best actors in the world but I bought the movie for the music and because I lived in Kansas City both on the Missouri side and "over on the Kansas side" as they say there and in the movie.
