    Good but I wish Nintendo could improve their side characters video games

    Overall, the game play is good! The controls are easy. The puzzles are not too hard but I understand why some people might think only children would like this. I love the game but I love playing as Toad in any Mario video games. I haven't gotten too far into the game but love the different ways to play. You can play the hide and seek with Toad and the regular game puzzles. I give the game a 4 stars only because I hoped the game itself would be a lot better than expected. Thinking of what games Nintendo has released I guess I had really high expectations for this being a Mario character game. I know Nintendo doesn't always hit the target on non main Mario character games but I WOULD RECOMMEND the game as a new adventure for anyone interested in seeing some beloved characters and villains of ...

    I have been a fan of most Nintendo games, especially in the ‘Mario World’ for decades. Captain Toad:Treasure Tracker is a welcome departure from the 2D platform and party games. With over 80 levels of diverse and increasingly complex ‘lands’ to explore to find gems, defeat or avoid enemies and discover the all important coins to add extra lives, this game is one of the best. Each level consists of a 3D, rotatable world, in which the goal is usually to locate 3 gems and finally a big star in order to complete the level. Various types of paths and traversable land and water are full of items and tools used to collect coins or disburse adversaries or blow up walls to gain access to otherwise hidden areas.     Great co-op 2 player couch game

    Great co-op mode. We watched a video of two people playing it where one controlled a Toad and the other controlled the camera angles. We thought it would drive us up a wall but decided to buy it and try it out. Turns out there is a regular co-op mode where there are two Toads on screen so you get your own. Both players can control the camera angle and the border lights up with the color indicating which player moved the camera at the time. It's really great. Check it out.

    Great Game for the True Mario Fan

    The Wii U had some excellent Mario games, and I'm extremely glad they decided to port Captain Toad to Switch. This game has all the charm of the revised Super Mario games. The gameplay is simple but familiar enough to hold your attention, and the levels are well constructed. If you're looking for a more relaxed Mario experience, then Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is the game for you!
