I recently knocked against one of the valves with my foot and there was a dreaded hiss of air as the valve broke off. The new valves are sturdier metal ones. I bought 2 new inner tubes to make sure that everything will be ready for when I next need to use it. Deflate the tyre before taking the wheel off or else it will burst out. Both of the new inner tubes have stayed inflated so everything is fine.
