Good swing seat; could be great.
I can't fault the quality for the price but? My god, the instructions are dire. The pictures are poor quality (diagrams would have been better) which made the instructions hard to follow. Be mindful that you select the correct bolts as I had used the bolts (12mm bigger) on the rear bracing elsewhere and had to undo the seat frame bolts to find them. I also had the canopy frame on backwards too. The coating on the frame is a bit thin and scratches easily. All in all it's a nice swing seat, a little bit dubious as to wether it could hold three adults (width and weight) but I would recommend this product for the price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Not a patch on the old one
Arrived well packed. The metalwork is good but the seat has a metal bar through the middle which is uncomfortable, The seat cushion is very thin, the canopy & seat are material not canvas, the adjustment for the canopy used nuts and screws so is not quickly adjustable with limited adjustment (the old one had a single clamp system). Not bad for the money but the quality is just not there so if you are looking for a nice swing seat, pay more and buy a different one.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great garden feature, amazing low price.
I am really impressed with this product, it came within the stated time frame and it looks amazing especially for the low cost. The only criticism I would have is the instructions are not clear and it can be difficult to figure out and in my case some peices had to be forced to fit so be careful with assembling. Appealing instructions
Flat packed Instructions appalling and pictures in parts blurred. If you are a single lady forget this product unless you pay someone to make it. It needs very sting wrists and muscles to make this firm and safe to use. The guy who made this up for me used extra tools of his own. My swing seat
Good value for the money and it will do us fine as we probs won't use it that much ,it is rated as a three seater but to be honest I would say maybe two adults and a child we have had an expensive one in the past and of course there is a big difference strength of the frame work but hey for the price of this one it's still good value so anyone looking for a swing seat but not wanting to spend a fortune then this item is as good as you will get for this sort of money well made and decent material,will recommend to my friends thank you.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent value for the price.
I bought one of these swing seats about 5 years ago and the fabric that supports the cushion has just started to decay. The frame is still strong after being left out in all weather. I just bought another one the same, only because you can't buy the replacement fabric. Very easy to put together as it comes with instructions. They can hold 2 heavy adults or 3 teenagers no problem. Good for a short term use.
Shipping was quick and I think it is a good deal for the price we bought it. Assembling can be a pain but once you start it gets easier. One of the support pillars had a dent in it when we received. Seat foam is very thin, not very comfortable and can feel the frame when you sit in the middle. Depth and width are decent. The frame is not very sturdy and paint is also superficial. Goodish but could be sooo much better with just a little more attention to details.
OK, this is value for money - BUT - you get what you pay for. You need an electron microscope to have any clear idea of what fits where. It's on an A4 page, but 2 A5's squeezed onto just one side, when at least it could have been larger and on each side. Best thing is to set out all the parts as per one diagram, counting how many you have of each. Then you need to straighten what is bent, difficult to know which one is bent until you start to piece it all together. The 2 spanners are almost unusable, plus the majority of bolts and nuts are fiddly. You really need a spanner set and torque wrench to do the job sensibly and securely. Once it's assembled (Tip: do the seat and arms separately to the main frame and note that the tilt slot for the canopy should be at the front). Overall, the instructions need to be rewritten or the diagrams made a size you can see and understand. The jigs for the pressing of the individual parts should be rechecked, something is out of kilter, just enough to be so annoying that it spoils the pleasure. I'd happily pay another £10 if those were revised, and then it would be a really good purchase. It should be a higher rating than 50% but too much niggly bits to rate this any higher at the moment. I suppose it achieved its aim, all we wanted to do after an afternoon of fiddling about was to collapse into it!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great for the price
