Dr. Seuss' classic, environmentally themed children's book comes to the big screen in this tale of a young boy who encounters a cantankerous forest creature after venturing outside of his artificial city in search of a tree. Ted (voice of Zac Efron) lives in a town where nothing is quite as it appears; everything is plastic, including the plants. Hopelessly smitten by the beautiful Audrey (voice of Taylor Swift), who dreams of one day seeing a real tree, Ted boldly leaves the city determined to find the flora and grant her wish. Along the way, the young adventurer crosses paths with the Lorax (voice of Danny DeVIto), a diminutive, mustached defender of nature who doesn't take kindly to human intruders. The better Ted gets to know the Lorax, however, the more he learns that his newfound friend has good reason for being a bit surly. Also featuring the voices of Betty White, Ed Helms, and Rob Riggle.

    Remember the message and the trees! Hawley Pratt’s animated short film The Lorax (1972) is an adorable family picture with a sadly timeless environmentalist message about protecting the forests, air, and water before it’s too late. Dr. Seuss’ writing is so striking as he critiques capitalism, deforestation, product marketing, greed, ignorance, economic depression, dishonest economics, real estate markets, air pollution, water pollution, animal relocation, animal extinction, and littering all in one brief story.     Super cute yet educational!

    I have 4 kids and this movie is great for all of them! It teaches my 9, 7, and 6 year old to take care of the earth and still entertains! My 3 year old even loves it! She may not understand the underlying meaning but she will in a couple years. Would buy this over and over!

    Lorax review

    I bought this movie for my kids and they absolutely love it! The movie itself is entertaining and has such awesome graphics. My kids love the songs played in the movie, they literally sing and dance along to it. This is such an awesome family movie would totally recommend it.
