bought this because had one for years, more reliable than any other ,also stainless steel does not rot as has steel,had one for years when scouting that tended to rust. had it for over 40 years did well to last that long. hope this one last as long.

A bit flimsy; barely "stainless"
Anything sharp that is meant to "stab" needs to be solidly constructed, else the user is liable to come off worse (based on my knowledge as a collector of bayonets!). One of the rivets (for the corkscrew) was loose. One rivet shows signs of rust - hardly "stainless". Other than the above, great value for money and earns its place as an emergency can-opener. (Why do modern cans have such a slim rolled top seam? use full tool for the price
0k as a standby product, as my last 2 more expensive openers have proved to be useless ,and have now found a place in my dustbin. but by all means buy one of these as a standby, and care full how you use it. jagged edges.

I like these as a stand by opner or one to carry in the car for use as a bottle opner the only down fall was that the blade part for opening the tin was not very sharp so really had to use quite a force not very convenient if you are a older weaker person so keep that in mind but it's ok if you have a man around.
