Great coffee
I’m not one for writing reviews, but I have been interested in buying green beans, roasting them in small batches and grinding them an even smaller batches 2or 3 cups at a time. It’s a passion and a past time. In the green bean Dept. I have drunk home roasted coffee from 48 different countries to experiment and it seems the best for my pallet is the high Mountain coffee grown in cooler climates than in the lower planes. However this Douwe Egbert roasted bean coffee I have found outstanding. It has got great flavour great depth with plenty of overtones of just about anything you can think of including those of the chocolate department along with a good follow through on the tongue, minutes after you’ve drunk the coffee you’ve still got a mouthful of flavour and that is something I cannot ... I got a little bit of a discount for buying two bags at £21 for 2 kilos but forget the money this is a great coffee certainly won’t be without it from now on interspersed with all my green bean roasting adventures. 10 out of 10 for a special every day coffee however you want to serve it and what ever type of barista you may be.

A great cup of Joe
Dark and smoky, with a proper kick of caffeine. The beans are decent quality, very few split in the kilo bag, a dark roast for a full bodied flavour and makes great espresso, cappuccino, mocha or just a flat white. Its been my preferred brand for many years now and nothing short of the apocalypse is going to change that.

Delicious everyday coffee
I have a built in bean to cup machine. It took me a several months to find a coffee I really liked but I have stuck with this one for the last three or four years. It has a rich, strong flavour without the burnt taste some strong coffees have. There's no bitter aftertaste and it's a good crema. Its priced around £10 per kilo, cheaper if you buy more than one bag and there are plenty of sellers.

Regarding the quality of the product.
Good day. I would like to point out flaws in this product which i have purchased from you. First, the coffee bean bag was torn and coffee beans have spilled out of the bag inside the package. Second, the expiry date of the beans is 11.2018, which means that they are not new. The coffee itself was good though.
