  • DEEP FRIED BUT NOT BAD

A piece of entertaining rubbish? Reminded me of the Saturday matinee at the cinema, all those years ago.

  • Mega Shark Vs Giant Octopus

As soon as I saw it in a DVD rental shop I knew it was the film for me. Quintessentially genius cinema. Inconsistent as hell (the opening shot shows Debbie Gibson piloting a sub, the cutaway shots of her hand are not her hand but someone elses, with black nailvarnish!) and poorly scripted and animated (every fight scene is virtually exactly the same). There is a charming humour lying in the very soul of this; and tongue in cheek it is explicitly enjoyable. It somehow surpasses the other films in this genre not only in plot but also in pastiche. Perhaps by the essential and primitive attraction of the film: mega shark and giant octopus, debbie gibson, bridge, fight!! It is a real B-movie horror of our time. The flaws and workarounds of the early cinema that this is indebted to remain here ...

  • awful film

Awful film, terrible acting, crap story, rubbish special effects (if you can call them that)etc etc etc............. This film isnt even tongue in cheek or laughable bad....its just BAD, boring bad, dull bad, poor bad, rubbish bad, everything bad. Disappointing and the director should hide his head in shame, so should the actors for that matter. Whilst you watch it look out for the multiple times they use the same extras and also the numerous of times throughout the film they use the same shots of the shark and submarine oh also look out for the hilarious scene of the "megashark" jump 10,000 feet in the air to bite a fast travelling passenger plane haha hilarious and whats more funny is that in the "making of" the actors and film crew are taking it so seriously and think they are actuslly ...

  • Classic of trash

If you love to laugh at terrible acting, cheap sets, bargain basement special effects and very limited on location shots then this is the movie for you!
