Good Product but...
I bought this model as it suited my purpose: To be able to switch on the hot water tank's immersion heater (3kW) but not have to worry about forgetting to turn it off. When needed, I set it for 1/2 hour by pressing the boost button twice and it works admirably. However on installation I found the single Earth terminal to be quite small and therefore somewhat inadequate. It would have been a better design to have had one larger terminal or better still, two terminals. Key Heater Control Switch
This timer switch is now controlling the back-up heater in our bathroom towel rail, specifically needed in this period of C/H OFF activity. It was easy to fit, well engineered for the five terminals, good instructions. Easy to operate and successful in performance. I can fully recommend it.

I looked at other similar devices but this one is compact and moreover is fused. It also has provision for earth continuity. This allows the radiator to be earthed if the heater has earthing.
