DALTON SHOULD HAVE PLAYED BOND MOORE!
Timothy Dalton as Bond is sometimes a forgotten thought, please don't think this, Licence To Kill is probably the best bond film for well over 10 years, it's certainly better than any latter day Roger Moore films with no scenery padding (like Octopussy), this film is end-to-end action with a great little story, plus it has a gorgeous bond girl. Highly rated movie.

What can one say of the definitive "dark Bond" thriller. The revenge motif of the recent "Quantum of Solace" is put in the shade by this uncompromising early attempt to include more Ian Fleming into this film, than ever before. The opening plane fishing scene, is now echoed in the recent opening prologue of "The Dark Knight rise" on at Imax previews. When Christopher Nolan homages this overlooked film, its time to re-access the Timothy Dalton - albeit shortlived era.What can one say of the definitive "dark Bond" thriller.
