Reviews
"...Boasting instrumental chops and three-part harmonies worthy of a mountain-soul string band..." - Grade: A-, 5 stars out of 5 - "With a leavening of Irish jiggery, country pop and bluegrass Led Zeppelin riffling, the San Diegans' third album throws out the genre manual and leaves every cell, body and soul, buzzing.", "Nickel Creek has made a strong acoustic rock album that reflects a new maturity in songwriting and great leaps in the group's once-tentative singing.", Ranked #49 in Mojo's "The 50 Best Albums Of 2005" - "A classy country-pop heartache for every fiddling hoedown. A quiet revelation."

  • Nickel Creek - Why Should The Fire Die

If you like me have an eclectic taste in music you will love this. All three of Creek are brilliant in their own ways but when they come together they are just genius. This Album has one weak track admittedly but it doesn't detract from what is a classic and yes this review could be for any of NC's CD's. GO OUT AND BUY

  • The 3rd Nickell Creek Album

This is the third and so far the last Nickell Creek album. The first is full of happiness. They were obviously having a good time. After that things got difficult and it shows in the albums. Fleetwood Mac's Rumours comes to mind. The mnusicianship is good throughout.

  • Why should the fire die

    Top CD from Nickel Creek.
