I wasn't sure what to expect when I bought this DVD. I only knew it was something I would watch because My favourite actor was in it, Maggie Smith. I pushed the DVD into player and sat back and wondered if it was going to be any good or a massive flop. Was I surprised, it was witty, funny, dark and surprisingly entertaining. I will watch this again with my friends and have a good laugh together.

Light-hearted fun with some prominent film stars
The film was fine. I liked the actors and the plot a lot. The enjoyment was spoiled mainly because there was a scuff on the DVD when it arrived and the film stopped playing in some scenes with the picture in freeze frame for several seconds before it continued playing again. I let the fault self-right itself, otherwise the only other option would have been to stop the film or fast forward it on.

A good evenings entetainment for the whole family.
a really unusual and fun movie, in the old ealing comedy style. many laughs and situations to ponder over. Nice locations shots and all involved are good actors. A good evening's entertainment, sadly not many this good, to follow on to.

DVD came within 3 days . Worked fine , Good price and a very funny movie .The kind I like . Strange that it is like some others ,that they are not well known .Another one is Marvellous, a true story about Neil Baldwin. A laugh out loud movie.
