Relived childhood memories with an old favourite
Bought as a present for my partner to refresh childhood memories and it did exactly that. She remembered the English actors voices version as her favourite. The film was exactly as she remembered it and the DVD played very well. Would have given it 5 stars but the sound was a little off note in a couple of places. I would hasten to add that this was not the DVD's fault, but probably an issue in the production at the time (1979). Through The Wardrobe We Go
From the makers of Snoopy Come Home this is truly a classic piece the animation for its time is priceless and you can see why the creators of snoopy were asked to do this fine tail about Peter Susan Lucy and Edmond and their adventures through the wardrobe to Narnia. Yes this movie has been made in a few different forms from the BBC to the actual Disney Classic but each has its own magical twist. Personally from being a child when this animation version was brought to the screen that changed my whole prospective to C.S Lewis's novels to screen drama, to this day this animation version holds a lot of memories and I definitely will say "Highly Recommended" if you haven't seen this version yet I think you should. This was nearly worn out on my tape player. Back to a time of innocent child stories and cheesy animation. Me and my younger sister loved it and im 30 now. Bought it again and had just as much fun as back then.
