The Box of Delights
I purposely read both adds from the same company to make sure a foreign DVD would play in a US VCR/DVD player. Only the VHS version was listed as "PALS" and any of you that have been screwed into purchasing one of these knows to throw it out. It has a block on it in this country. So, NOT seeing the PALS sign on the two Box of Delights DVD's I purchased from this company I never knew they still WOULD NOT PLAY ON US EQUIPMENT! even though the original add I copied and printed and said nothing about any blocks, so now I have two DVD's that won't play on US equipment; but of course the selll could have warned me, and not even 3 attempts to solve this with the copmpany or e-bay brought me any results. BBC Classic children series.
Aired on tv in 1984 and based on a children's novel by John Masefield, this is a BBC classic children series full of magic, dangers and great actors. Highly recommended!
