I have been using tire liners in my bikes for years and never had a flat on the trail. Installation is only as hard as removing your wheels, tires and tubes, then putting it all back together. Getting the liner centered is a little tricky. If you're not mechanically inclined, a bike shop would be a good idea. These liners have saved me many times from having to walk home after riding though an unexpected patch of thorns. Nothing is bullet proof, but these come as close to it as life will allow.

Install on my fat tire bike. Front tire was really an easy install. The rear was more difficult for some reason, it was more difficult to remove from the rim. Install was easy once one side the rear tire was removed from the rim. Broke a plastic tire lever, had to use a metal motorcycle tire lever to remove the tire, reinstall was easy.

Upon receipt, I opened the package. Looking at the strips I was wondering if these things were as good as stated. So I decided what did I have that could do the damage of a thorn? I open the scissors drawer and pulled out my sharpest pair and thought to myself, " Okay, now I'll see for myself. Alright, now I'm disappointed that my best scissors failed me. Actually I am very happy that my scissors failed to penetrate. Awesome!

Put them on a 26 inch bike directions said to just overlap extra liner. Which I did however I put them on an electric bike that does 30 mph. At speed the balance was very noticeable. So removed them and trimmed them down to fit more closely. When trimming them they surely lived up to their name TUFF. Now the balance is much improved the ride is smoothed out and I'm very confident they will stop nearly anything that attempts to puncture my tires. Small learning curve when installing them but not so tough once you learn the system.

They seem like they would work great. The tough part about this product is the installation. The liner is hard to keep in during the install. I feel like if the liner is properly placed in the tire it will work great. I'm just uncertain if they are where they should be. Overall I'd say for the price it's worth giving them a shot.
