Lovely illustrations in this book. I would rate it’s condition more as good not very good (paper ripped on spine) but it doesn’t effect the over all quality of the book. Prompt delivery. Thank you.

  • A TIMELESS CLASSIC

Probably the greatest modern day fairytale , has enchanted past and no doubt future generations. A story so thrilling, yet simplistic and intwines the heart. I reccommend this to young and old alike. I got my copy when I was 5, I am still reading it 50 years on !

  • The Cat is greater than the Man

T.S. Eliot is normally associated with profound and challenging works of plays and poetry, raising matters of life and destiny. Old Possum's Book shows a completely-different talent. His cats all have interesting tales(!) to tell; they are confident, interesting characters, who know how to manipulate the human being. In Kipling's words, they know how to walk alone. The book should appeal to both young and old.

  • The book was good the condition wasn't.
