Steinman Sturm und Drang
This was supposedly intended as a sound track to a stage show. Imagine "Celtic Woman", done with over-the-top Steinman songs. That's what this is. It never found an audience, which is a damn shame. It contains songs that became hits or movie themes by other artists so it could be viewed as a demo recording of first drafts. But in the case of this recording, these "first drafts" blow away the covers that became hits. The original version on this CD of "It's All Coming Back To Me Now" blows away both Celine Dionne's and Meat Loaf's follow-ups. The original version on this CD of "Good Girls Go to Heaven" blows away Meat Loaf's cover. The original version on this CD of ... you get the point. This also contains more than a little of Steinman's sense of humor (something sorely missed on Bat ... This was supposedly intended as a sound track to a stage show. "I've Been Dreaming Up a Storm" is beyond description. If you appreciate Steinman's songs. If you appreciate over-the-top power ballads. If you appreciate leather-lunged women singers with powerful voices backed by wall-of-sound music that would make Phil Spector's jaw drop, then you must buy this CD. Better yet, buy two, and give one to someone who thinks Brittaney Spears is what female singers are all about and watch their head spin around.

Jim Steinman`s underrated album
Probably one of the most under-rated albums, and one that still not everyone has even heard of. It`s Jim Steinman`s band, songs that have since ended up on Meat Loaf albums where they belong! Some real classics here, such as "I just won`t quit", "Original Sin" & of course the original, and best version of "It`s all coming back to me now" before it was hijacked by Celine Dion.

If you like Jim Steinman and Rock you will love this. A mini opera on CD, its very easy to imagine the characters. It should be produced as a stage show.

i AM A GREAT FAN OF JIM STEINMAN AND HIS UNIQUE SONGWRITING ABILITIES REALLY STAND OUT. IT IS A VERY RARE CD AND SO WHEN I NOTICED IT ADVERTISED ON EBAY THE OPPORTUNITY COULD NOT BE MISSED
