Studio Album v Roisin Live
Her and Moloko on stage are fantastic but sadly none of her or their studio albums come even close to the real thing which is disappointing as i haven't come across any live albums yet. This, her 2nd solo offering, is good but with a voice as fantastic as Roisin's more could have been done surely.

All hail Roisin Murphy for making an album that reflects the great poppy catchiness of Moloko but manages to be much edgier. This is such an original work without being truly out-there and is therefore instantly accessible. From the opening title track which sets the scene with a perfect synth framework that's perfect for anyone who loves the genre, you know exactly where this album is heading. Tracks like You Know Me Better, Body Language and Let Me Know just make you want to get up and dance, while tracks like Primitive, Footprints and Dear Miami are perfect for singing along to whilst enjoying a glass of wine in the bath! If you are a person who likes electro, then you are in for a treat. This album is well-crafted, quirky and interesting. I am not a person who is fascinated by lyrics, but I must say, the lyrics in Roisin's records are awe-inspiring. Headlining tracks such as, 'Let Me Know','You Know Me Better' and 'Overpowered' are guaranteed to get you dancing, one way or another. It's clear Roisin has a great passion for her work, as this shines through. This album works on many different levels, but as far as electro goes, this is a fantastic album.
