        Good construction, great idea

        I have not been able to get this remote to work for my Sanyo system yet, but I have not given up. I will continue to search codes and update my rating when I'm successful. My system is a Sanyo but another company took over production, so my code may be hidden under that name--unfortunately, I can not remember who took over the Sanyo mini-split systems.

        Won't work with my new Carrier ductless system.

        Couldn't get it to program to my new Carrier split unit no matter how hard I tried. I tried every Carrier code and also allowed it to do the auto-search. Occasionally, it would hit on a code where a few buttons would work, but many functions, including power off, I never got to work. Since the unit works perfectly with the factory remote, clearly it's not my system.
