A great western with a twist. A fantastic film interesting start then crawls a bit as it spins its yarns about the town folks but more than makes up for it at the films gruesome climax - I won’t say any more than that as I don’t want to leave any spoilers for anyone. I was recommended this film by a friend and I was not disappointed a great movie for lovers of westerns and horror movies I urge you buy a copy and have a look for yourselves. I score this a 9 out of 10 ……..A great western with a twist. How this film is not more widely known is beyond me . Excellent , unique Western . There are familiar aspects - although much better in their execution than usual - but other aspects are like nothing i have seen before in this genre . A movie full of edge of the seat, WTF!! moments - definitely a future classic and heartily recommended family viewing...😃

Well worth a watch.
A slow start that leads to edge of the seat stuff. The acting is convincing and the story draws you in from near the start to the very last scene... I was not actually sure the action was over until the credits ran. You will love it or hate it but either way you will find it memorable.

Make no mistake, this has an 18 certificate for a very good reason, it is both scary and pretty gory. Basically, without giving too much away, I would classify this as a 'Horror Western' starring Kurt Russell (Tombstone) and you are unlikely to fall asleep watching it. Probably best not to watch this on your own........

Firstly Kurt Russell, as a huge fan of Kurt Russell this film certainly seems to be his wheelhouse. I love the western style movie but with the horror/gore twist which with films like The Thing we know he's very capable, I found the characters engaging even the couple who becomes a central part of the plot, you actually completely engage and feel for them all as the story develops. Enough creeps and turns to keep you interested and it'll be the most unusual western style you'll see in a while.
