Brilliant! Don't waste money buying anything else!!
I'vew been trying to learn French for years and years having purchased Linguaphone, Hugo etc. but this is the only course that has actually got me speaking French This is because Michel encourages you to work out the sentences as he gently guides you through the course. Yes, there is some poor woman who is obviously struggling used to demonstrate the course but she quietens down as the course becomes rather more complex. This IS a spoken French course, and though he does spell out words for you, the simplification of grammar that aids the learning here, means that if you require to understand the complexities of grammar, or written French, you'll need to supplement this, but since it is only to get you confidently speaking French, for me it does 'exactly what it says on the cover'! This course will make you fluent as a tourist and a bit more. Great to listen to in the car to increase/review your language. Introduces words and usage, including alternative sentences. Repetition to reinforce.
